DeLorean Motor Company was founded in 1975 in Detroit. This small car manufacturer was oriented on the sport cars, their first model, DeLorean DMC-12, wasn’t actually a sport car (although it looked great). DMC-12 became widely known as time machine vehicle from "Back to the Future" movies, but due to technical and budget problems it became their only model in history. The company still exists, but only as a trademark.
