Carry on Cabby (1963, United Kingdom)Running time: 90 minutes
Language: English Charlie Hawkins is owner of local taxi company, completely absorbed with the business he begins to neglect his wife Peggy. She wants to teach him a lesson and in secret she plans something that will hurt him - she starts her own taxi company, but with better cars and attractive girls as drivers.
One of the early Carry On movies was set around taxi drivers and their business. It wasn’t great movie, even for Carry On standards, but it shows a lot of 1940s and early 1950s taxis used in Britain.
