In 1988 in one of the episodes of comedy series Sorry! (1981-1988), starring Ronny Corbett one of the characters said:
- I’m in antiques now. By the way, perhaps you would be interested in Sinclair C5? Only 300 yards on the clock!
In sketch comedy series there were puns, like: man in C5 approaches a prostitute on the street.
- How much? - he asks.
- 20 pounds - she replies.
He gets out of C5, gives her 20 pounds and she is living in Sinclair. |
