Jaguar XJ220Jaguar XJ220 was a concept car that was Jaguar?s move into the segment of supercars. The prototype with V12 and 4-wheel drive was presented in 1988, but the production started two years later, when Ford took over Jaguar. The version that was manufactured had mounted (twin-turbo) V6 engine and rear-wheel drive, but nevertheless during the premiere on Nurburgring it broke the lap record with top speed of 213 mph (340 kph).
Why is it legendary?
In 1982 it was the fastest car available to the public with top speed of 213 mph (340 kph). Jaguar XJ220 is still one of the most powerful and fastest cars around.
