Ferrari 250 GTO

Ferrari 250 GTO was first supercar that came from Ferrari and what debut that was - the 300 bhp gave the car of mass of just 880 kg the top speed of 280 kph. The GTO stands for Gran Turismo Omologato (Grand Touring Homologated), which means that despite being sold to regular drivers the car was also homologated for racing.

Why is it legendary?

The car became legendary mostly because of great performance, but since only 39 were ever produced the car soon reached high prices on the auctions. In 2013 one of the GTO’s was sold for record sum of 32 million pounds (52 million dollars).
